Learn more about resources and coverage options before you leave home:  

• When possible, utilize telehealth services, before going to an urgent care or the emergency room to avoid surprise bills.

• Coverage is limited to urgent and emergency services while outside your service area.

• If you are enrolled in Kaiser or Dean Health, you are encouraged to check with your Primary Care Physician (PCP) before travelling to make sure you aware of the approval process. Your health plan may include access to travel nurse experts who can provide additional support or guidance.
